I'm relatively new to Avid, and I just had a question about my two-monitor setup.
Is there a way to have Avid Express Pro HD maximized in one monitor without it "overflowing" in the second monitor? I know I can "pull" the sides of the program to resize it to fill one screen, but I've had a few problems with that setup. (For instance, when I move the timeline window too close to the edge of the program's window, the timeline window will kind of snap back to the place where it would be if I had Express Pro spread out across two windows.)
So basically, what I would like to do is have Express Pro behave as if there is only one monitor while still having two monitors set up. (That way, I can do other stuff like watch tutorials on the other monitor while using Express Pro.)
what are your system specs? And how did yoy configure your graphics card?

In a two monitor setup, Avid will utilize both monitors. If you sqeeze the Avid interface to one monitor, next thing you can do is go to Windows > Home. That may fit everything into one monitor nicely.
Here are my system specs (which I just now added to my profile): Pentium 4 2.4 ghz, 1.50 gb ram, 37.2 gb and 298 gb hard drives, NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4200 graphics card, VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller.
I have Windows extend onto my second monitor, if that's what you're asking.

I tried going to Windows > Home, but whatever window I had selected at the time I went there just suddenly disappeared (for whatever reason), and the Avid Express Pro window size didn't adjust or anything. Perhaps I did something wrong?
Thanks for the replies, by the way. I appreciate it.
