when outputting a dvcam hd sequence (720 60p) via firewire (i do not have the dnxcel board) to a panasonic AJ-HD1200A i get a vertical bounce of the picture every 3 or 4 seconds while viewing e-e during output or when simply playing the timeline without outputting but voewing e-e for that matter. looks fine on the avid and the recorded tape plays back fine as well but the bouncing during output is disconcerting nonetheless and does allow us to make any dubs while outputting. it seems like some sort of sync issue but in checking all the settings on the deck everything seems to be correct. has anyone experienced this problem or at least shed some light on where we might be going wrong. btw the program is about 7 hrs. thanks.

Are you feeding both deck and Adrenaline sync?

yes.

I know this may sound basic but do you have the Avid set to Reference for sync in the Video Output tool?

If that does not work try setting the deck to input video for sync(or unplug the sync) and set the Avid it internal.
