KONA LH and Media Composer w/Mojo on same system?

    Just a quick question guys:

I'm looking to get a KONA LH card for my Power Mac G5 with the PCI-X slot to have I/O for my FCP system.  I also run Avid Media Composer v2.8 with an Avid Mojo on the same system.  Would there be any problems with Avid and the KONA card?  I've heard that Avid pretty much doesn't even know other cards are there, but I wanted to check with you guys.

    Thanks,

    Yusef

Man, I'd go dual boot, just in case you need to upgrade your OS for FCP. Clone your drive, partition it and start up in either world.

As far as we've seen, if you don't load Kona drivers on your Avid boot disk, all is well. But both on one...? I'd stay away. But then again, close the drive and test it.

    Don't trust the internet...
