    I have express pro 4.8.4 and want to start a cut a project on P2 cards HD. How much do I need to upgrade?

    Well, past 5.5.x certainly so, while you are at it, why not upgrade to the MC for the $495 price. Quite a bargain.

    I looked at the composer bargain but then I have upgrade the hardware rather much. I also have a 5.6.4 but there the only HD is HDV.

    I believe you'll see Import...P2 on the File menu in 5.6.4.  That will allow you to do a standard HD project using P2.

    MacPro, MacBook Pro and a Cube. The Cube doesn't do much but it looks cool. [view my complete system specs]
