ok Yesterday I was working with media generated on a red one camera recorded at 4k 23.97fps, i have to download a software called red cine and conver every frame on dpx to import in my ds nitris, i have tried to convert in qt whit avid codex but the transfer its so slow, if any body can says any more about this workflow please write a post.... sorry for my basic english thanks
check on reduser.net - go to 4K workflow and then Avid workflow.
MichaelP has a beta tool that sounds pretty cool - it is the first post right now. There is also the metacheater route. Are you Windows or Mac based? If you are MAC you can use RED ALERT and I *think* that is easier than the REDCINE route.

i'm on a pc thats the problem i can't export qt reference from red cine
that post with the xml solution from MichaelP on reduser.net works for a PC workflow I think.
I've got a RED project coming up and am probably just going to purchase a Macbook Pro to simplify the workflow while RED / Avid smooth things out. The Macbook will let you use metacheater, convert the stuff and then cut on your normal Windows workstation.
