    1080i/60 footage to 1080p/23.976 project?

    Greetings,

How does one export 1080i/60 footage to a 1080p/23.976 project? I attempted using timewarp pulldown in AVID XPRESS and AVID COMPOSER. I had no luck.

I selected a clip on the 1080i/60 timeline.  I applied the timewarp pulldown effect.  I clicked on the effect motion icon and I sped up the clip (125% Timewarp PUlldown - fluidmotion interlaced to Progressive) i then took the 1080i-60 and exported (quicktime ref, quicktime file, changed settings 1080p/1080i, different fps etc, all different ways) to a 1080p/23.976 project. The clip still appears to be sped up. Any ideas on how to move footage from 1080i/60 to 1080p/23.976? Has anyone ever done this successfully in AVID Xpress or Composer?

    Thanx Zack
