    Matching 24p and 30i footage

    Hey There...

I have 6 cameras t 30i and one camera at 24p. I've done a pull down on the 24p footage and brought it in to a 30i timeline and it syncs up nicely.

Only thing is the motion of the conformed 24p footage is a bit too 'stroby' and looks noticeably different from the 30i footage.(Obviously)

Are there any methods in Avid or even After Effects (ie, de-interlacing etc...) that will make my footage match up. Im assuming im going to have to make the 30i footage look like 24p. Or is there a way to make the 24p look more like 30i?

Anything will do, as long as I can make it all look similar, or at least un-notciable to the un-trained eye.

    Thanks very much!

See what happens if you deinterlace the 30i footage. It will already create a different perception. Are you sure that this extra cam is not meant to look different? Could be an "artistic choice".
