I use Liquid for the moment for my TV show as I did the last 2-3 years, the one of them for the 3rd National Channel in Greece, which we were shooting at DVCam and delivered at Beta.
I use it also to "digital" cut my own short and docs and for commercials etc.
The main income is from the show I am directing and editing and I plan to use MC for that in the near future.
It would be very nice to hear about what you really use MC for. Don't hesitate. Let the world know what you are "digital" cutting with it.

We use MC to edit the popular web Tv show Please Stand By. We also produce & direct PSB. We shoot with the absolutely wonderful Canon XL H1 @ 60i. We would also like to shoot 24F, but Avid has chosen NOT to include capture at this frame rate. There are now six Canon cameras using this 24F (Not p), so it's time to pick up the 24F compatibility slack Avid !
We also use our MC to cut our client's industrial videos, documentaries, digi-underground feature films, and music clips. We use MC with the Avid Studio Toolkit (V5.7) to deliver mostly on SD DVD & Windows Media Video. We also use MC occassionally with Sorensen Squeeze.
The thing is don't peak too early in life. Currently at MC 3.0
I love films. Keep on going Mark. It's a shame about not being able to capture 24f.
Laurent Cantet won the Golden Palm. He is one of the best auters of our times along with Haneke by me.
Also today the great Sydney Pollack passed away. Respect.
We use MC to edit tv shows for History Channel, Discovery Channel, Oxygen Network, Speed Network, MojoHD, and we also edit promos and other short form pieces for HGTV and the Fine Living Network.
Are you directing as well. Or directors hires you to do the edits?
We are a post production facility. Other production companies sell the shows to those networks, they produce them, then send us a box of tapes and sometimes a script (sometimes not) and we edit the shows.

I thought that only happened in this country!

Producer incompetence is a global epidemic.
I use my home-based MC for a variety of projects, mostly corporate and indie doc. But much of my work on MC in general is as a "hired gun" where I have gone to a client's site to work on projects in the educational/corporate realm as well as broadcast projects.

We're using Avid MCA (3 offlines / 1 online) to edit Better Homes & Gardens for the Seven Network in Australia.
Much respect to Sydney Pollack. The last time I saw him on screen was a cameo in Entourage - a great actor and director.

I've used Media Composer over the past five years to online over 300 hours of network broadcast television for every New Zealand national channel (all edited on Avid Media Composer, Film Composer or Xpress Pro), including shows that have broken NZ ratings records (on a number of occasions). Also shows for international delivery to BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, Country Music Television, Network Ten and a few feature documentaries. Also various ads, music videos and other bits and pieces. These projects have originated on DV, DVCAM, BetaSP, XDCAM, DigiBeta, HDV and HDCAM and have been mastered to DVCAM, DigiBeta and HDCAM SR.
I've also used Media Composer and/or Xpress Pro to do offline edits of many other programs and items for broadcast and other things.

My opinions are my own.
I use MC at home with MOJO for editing Broadcast shows, commercials and show opens. At work I use Symphony Nitris for commercials, promos, show opens etc....
I use Media Composer to edit events that I shoot. Promotion Ceremonies, Military Parades and other cheesy talking head kind of stuff.
