    QT Movie Export System Hangs!

    System:

    Avid Media Composer V2.8.1

    QuickTime 7.3.1

    Windows XP SP2

    Intel 2.4GHz Quad Core processor, 3GB RAM, Intel DG33 Motherboard, Nvidia Quadro FX 1500 Graphics Card.

    Problem:

    When I export a sequence to Quick Time Movie from a 24p film project, system hangs and gives Runtime error. I am getting the same error with Avid Xpress Pro 5.8 also.

     

    Please provide solution.

    Export it to where? And why 24p? Are you saying you export a 24p project to the desktop as a quicktime movie and that that movie hangs? Need a lot more info.

    Exporting Quicktime movie for sound and compositing reference. I am able to export quicktime movie from 25fps project, When I try to export from 24p film project the system hangs. Also faced this on Xpress Pro 5.7.

    Please check my system specs. What additional details you need?
