Ok - this is frankly driving me nuts..
When I consolidate a sequence with any titles in (done with title tool) I get a Stream Error consistantly.. i have to do a video mixdown of the titles and then do it.. this seems ridiculous as Im trying to archive off a job that had lots of titles in and im wasting so much time doing this.
Ive done a search of the forum and a few other people seem to have this error.. to me it appears unique to composer as I never had this problem on newscutters. yet no one has a solution to how to get around it that easy..
Is it a bug or is there a way around this thats not ridiculously labour intensive! - this was on composer 2.8 and 2.8.3
Try a new user setting and project. Create a title and consolidate it. Do you still get the error?

I had this same problem after moving from Xpress to MC. The solution offered by Assurance (right before my contract expired) was to take all the titles off-line. This worked for me. However, after I had edited my first MC project AND mistakenly created MXF new media (which mixed just fine with the old OMFs from Xpress) I did another consolidate and it worked fine.
Go figure.

thanks Dom but didnt work... seem to me a poor answer from avid to say take the title medai offline.. why not just fix the bug.. when you have 60 titles in a 20 minutes sequence thats not really practical.. nor is doing a video mixdown for each one of them.. oh and I cant go MXF - the unity at work hates it
