I'm asking advice from anyone who custom built their computers for composer. I dont yet have composer but built my comoputer around the specs.

CPU Intel Duo Core 2  3.0ghz

GPU Nvidia Quadro FX 3500

MOBO Gigybyte  S-Series

4 GB Ram OCZ plantium

2 TB HDD

High Power 500w Power Supply

Windows Xp SP2

This is my first time having my own editing system and wondering if anyone with the same componets had any issues or can give me advice on what I could use to run a smooth editing system.

MC without Mojo should be fine. In order to use Mojo or Mojo SDI you will need PCI-x bus segment dedicated to your hardware only.

I'm running fine with Mojo, my motherboard has a X38 Intel chipset. I think we'll both be unable to run the next generation Avid DX hardware however.

 make sure you use a SoundBlaster audio card.
