sending from interplay to an automation system

I'll post this around but my basic problem is I have a lanshare post facility on interplay that pulls from a unity system on media manager (news) that also sends to airspeeds for news playout. All well and good, but we play our programming (non news) out through grass valley profiles (and K2) controlled by a harris automation system. At present the only way to send spots from post to the grass/harris system is to dump it to tape then dig into the automation system. So i want a "send to" solution from avid to harris....anyone doing anything like this? Curious minds Cheers gregg G

Avid Interplay integrates with Harris and GVG profiles without a problem. Contact you local Avid reseller for details.

A reseller with details on broadcast workflow?  You must be joking.

Is anyone doing this,  and conversely,  is anyone using Harris automated ingest systems with Interplay for  receiving media.

Avid offers a Media Services Provider called "Export to Harris" for Interplay. After a SendToPlayBack operation to Airpseed, the editor user can export metadata to the Harris Database. Harris then controls playpack on the Airpseed via VDCP. This service is used by a number of customers. But I don't know if there is automated ingest with Harris.

GVG profile integration with Interplay Transfer has been available for quite a while and is also used by a number of customers.

That's all nice and wonderful,  however that still moves the video to baseband.  That's not a file based workflow into the Harris.
