Avid for Liquid Users: Lesson 7 - Solving the HDV long GOP problem.

The seventh in a series of tutorials created to assist Avid/Pinnacle Liquid users who are considering migrating to Media Composer.

Once again, remember I am working with HDV video.
There is no Long GOP problem with SD.

At the moment I am still a beginner in MC.
I am not using the correct methods to achieve many of the things I am trying to show you.
But the object of the Tutorials is to help newcomers from Liquid to get moving.
Then I am sure most of you will sail past me at breakneck speed.

Those of you with hawk-eyes will notice that, quite often, I have the audio tracks "turned off".
This is because when I connect the USB mike for the Camtasia voice-overs MC has no longer access to the sound card!
This is almost certainly due to the fact that I am running with Onboard Sound only - no extra audio card.

If you would like to watch this tutorial as a full-size QT-movie I suggest you right click HERE and download the file to your computer.
