i'm interested as well...i was supposed to go but got stuck at work.
anyone?
Was in attendance - nice looking room - Kirk Arnold was the first to speak, good presentation focusing on customer attention. It was a packed event too. Also a few photos of the event - moreover the most important things at the event. The front of the Mojo DXFrom what I have been reading, on the boards, there is question to what this serial port is - official confirmation is that this port is NOT user accessible. It is for Avid diagnostics only - meaning that if anything happens to the DX and and Avid tech has to work on it - they can access diagnostics of the board without cracking the box first.Nitris DX frontAnd the posterior of the NDX.Very impressed with seeing MC3.0 running on the MacPro laptop (with MDX) sending HD material out with no issues - running on the latest Mac OS. Also a Vista 64 running. The systems take full advantage of the CPU (or multiple CPUs as it is) and access that breaks the 3Gb ram limit - so those who are cranking powerful CPUs and RAM, render times are going to be cut short (so forget that lunch break for big renders). So, even if you DON'T get any of the DX boxes - the advantages of the latest (yet to be released) versions - your systems (as long as they are 'approved') should fly, leaps and bounds, beyond what we are all familiar with now.All-in-all, nice event. This is my first Avid event - the stars were aligned that allowed me to stop in - quite impressed with their ratio of hands on reps to customer roughly 3 reps per system with 5 systems running in different configurations.Almost forgot to add a screen shot of the new TC plug-in.

We've just posted a brief write-up on the New York City event on the Events Blog page. Check it out at: http://community.avid.com/blogs/events/archive/2008/05/19/avid-s-new-thinking-in-the-big-apple.aspx
I'll add a few more photos if I receive more interesting shots. Thanks again to everyone who came out and joined us.

Thanks. Yes, we've discussed videotaping events and have done so on occasion.
We did tape some Customers from our Los Angeles New Thinking event (April 8th) and posted the footage on the New Thinking microsite. If you check out the link, click the selection (on the left) that says "People" and then you should see the "Customer Thinking - LA" video.
Hopefully we can add more footage like this to the Web site in the future. Thanks for the feedback and stay tuned!
Ha. I'm the guy in the blue jeans and grey/light jacket - dead centre in the first photo. I find that funny.
