Hi all,
Doing some tests. I've tried both the 'load p2 into bin' option and the 'media tool drag to bin' option for p2 media. Get a 'wrong format' and 'resolution is not supported' message. But Avid claims AVC-Intra is supported right? Maybe it's a project setting? Here are the specs for the footage: Originated from Panasonic HPX-3000G / Image Specs:1920 x 1080 progressive at 29.97fps / AVC-Intra 100 4:2:2
What would i do or have to do to get this to work? Transcode from a third party application and import like the RED workflow (which i have to try as well)?
thanks for the time

I'm not sure this is supported until 3.0 is released next month.
Do you really want to know what's wrong...or do you just want me to fix it?
FCP2Avid
Well at least they're thinking about it And that is an anwer i can pass onto these pushy production folks that tell me i need to get with the times and use FCP because Avid is dead
Tell 'em to wait 'till June the new software/hardware rocks!
Is there a place to look for any sneak peeks other than the Blog? Or is it tight security?
