I management a Avid unity system.

Nomally, One File Manager should indicate

Running; this is the active File Manager.

The other File Manager should indicate

Standby Mode; this is the passive File Manager.

But now File manager status always indicate is starting can not Running and the other File

Manager indicate Standby Mode.

Please show me how solve this problem.

Shut down BOTH file managers.

Turn on * only * your primary file manager.   Your backup or standby file manager contains no real metadata to speak of,  so it has no value in troubleshooting.

Open the server log viewer while the system is starting the file manager service.   Tell us what it says.   The feeling I'm getting is you have some serious problems.

Regarding your File Manager problem, it is very difficult to fix it this way. I would recommend contacting a local Avid Unity expert to troubleshoot it locally at your place.
