HDV and DV in Same Project

I am working on a project that will require HDV footage and DV in the same Time Line. Will this be a problem?

    Thanks,

Nope, it will work fine, however you'll need to render before outputting, and depending on the speed of your machine, you may encounter playback issues when it's playing clips at non-native resolutions if you don't render.

     Great thanks for the info...

85% of my project is DV and we have just a few clips of HDV to import. I noticed that the only way I can import the HDV is to go to my project menu, Format and then change the project format from 30iNTSC to 1080i/59.94HDV. I can then import my HDV footage but then all my other clips in the bins are out of proportion.  Once I have imported the HDV footage I must then go back into the format folder and change it back to 30iNTSC and restart the computer.  Once this is done my DV footage in back to normal but my HDV is unproportional. I then must put a 16:9 reformat effect on it to make it look correct. However it does not look like it is still 1080i.

Does this import process sound correct?

    Thanks for the support!!!
