first of all, i know Free DV is no longer supported.

now, to the question:

does anyone know of a way to get FreeDV to do an "alldrives 1" console command? either by forcing it to bring up the console somehow or in the initial run command or something?

if not, what would be the next version "up" of avid, that will allow it? Is Xpress DV still around at all? i only use FreeDV for some stuff and MC for real work, so i kinda have no clue about the stuff in between...

Hi,

I don't know of a way to force open the console (assuming CTRL+6 doesn't work).  As for moving up the food chain, Avid has EOL'd Xpress DV and Xpress Pro, so there's nothing in between anymore; MC is it.
