    Timecode question

    Hello,

I have a question regarding timecode. How would I know if the timecode or "TC" button was selected in the capture tool when I originally captured my footage? I think it was but it was a while ago and was hoping there was a way to confirm it.

Any info is much appreciated. Thanks.

    Re: Timecode question

When u Click the TC button in Caputre tool it seems like rose Color, then u can know it is Selected, when u keep the Curser in that TC button u will get a message '' Enable Timecode'',So u can Switch on or off.

    Re: Timecode question

when you capture with the timecode button deselected on an Avid controlled deck you are capturing with the time of day timecode instead of source timecode. Compare the timecode of your captured files with that of the original media.

    Re: Timecode question

     hey thanks for the replies.

the timecode on my captured footage is off by a few seconds when compared to the original tape. what are the implications for this?

I'm trying to upgrade my project from 15:1 to full quality but the capture is off and I'm trying to figure out why.

    thanks again.
