    Dissolve resolution differs from footage

I've noticed that dissolves in my timeline are rendered at a smaller frame size than the footage. I'm editing in full frame NTSC (720x486), but when a dissolve is applied between two shots, there's a small black line that appears at the top of the frame, it's like the image is cropped at the top. Is it because dissolves are programmed to work at 720x480, and that black line is the missing 6 pixels?

or is there a way to change the dissolve resolution?

Is your effects aperture setting set to 601 in your render settings?

No, it wasn't. It took a little while to find that setting, it's actually not in the render settings but in the General settings, but it did solve the problem,

    thanks as always
