We have some QT files that are 1080p 23.976 and we need to create HDCam masters. What would be the best way to create a ALE for batch importing?
The editor will be cutting on a osx meridian system and he would like to batch digitize the clips from the HDCam masters down converted from a JH3.Can we use metacheater to create the ALE for batch importing into our HD adrenaline? Should we use the original timecode of the QT? What kind of ALE should we create for sd offline?

Transferred to SR with 8 channels of audio

Down converted to IMX with 8 channels

Offline on OSX Meridian w/ Sony MSW M2000

 Do the QuickTimes have a timecode in it that you want to preserve and replicate what is on a master tape? If so, then Metacheater will do that for you.
