I sometimes use TMGENec Xpress 4.0 to convert to and from DNxHD. But after installing 5.8.3, TMGENec's DNxHD options have disappeared. I believe it's becasue the 5.8 install removes the codecs and then reinstalls them for Avid's use, but not for general use (I hope I understand that correctly).

So do you think it would be okay for me to reinstall Codecs LE 1.8 on top of AXP 5.8.3? I don't know if this will fix the problem with TMPGENec, but I think it's worth a shot. But I also don't want to mess up my AXP install.
