    BWAV Export

Surely this would be very simple to implement. And very useful for those tiny fixes when an another OMF is overkill.

So why dont you export a wav using selected tracks and marks from Avid? Assuming TC ability in the DAW then spot to Avids export Mark In time. Happens all the time here.

Not sure I follow you there Andrew. Do you mean exporting audio plus a TC track?

Nope. By exporting using Marks you have an exact TC for the start of you .wav file. Here with Protools I import it and Spot the wav file to the timecode used for the mark in of the Avid export.

(I have not really checked but I think if I use Spot the start time is actually already in the Sync point line of the spot dialog) Will look later in the day

Ah yes I see what you mean, this is what I do to when i need to. It just would be nice to have proper timecode in the wav, especially when it's going elsewhere. It seems that it would be simple to implement.

Workarounds galore, but BWAV export would be a very, very nice thing to have. Makes perfect sense in this day and age.

I need to confirm, but I believe this one may have slipped into v3. I will check.

The timeline timecode will be stamped into the BWF when exported. This is confirmed for v3.
