strange wrinkle in video after capture

A student working on a school project consolidated a DV25 sequence to online on Adrenaline 1-1. After capture we played the sequence in the composer window and noticed a wrinkle across the center of the frame on some of the clips. (Rather like the wrinkle one would see on a 'stretched'  or well-used Beta tape!)

Immediately checked his master digibeta  tapes––all were good.  Played the clips in the source window––same wrinkle.  We recaptured from another sequence and noticed while capturing the material looked fine in the TV Monitor and I suspect the sequence might 'output' okay but I'm not sure.

The students use Avid MC 2.8 at their stations and normally take the bin with consolidated or decomposed sequence to open a new 1-1 project in the Adrenaline 1.8.2   Their original footage is 16mm txferred to Digibeta.  (They capture at DV25) for offline and output to Digibeta-do not go back to film)

    Has anyone any ideas, please?

    Thanks,

    Nolas
