    QT crashes MC

It's seeming that everytime I go to export a quick time and try and change the settings, the program crashes.  I can export QT's just fine as long as I do "sames as source" or the default settings in custom.  When the settings dialog window comes up, the program just locks up.  It gives me an "access violation" message.

I have Quicktime Pro as well and when I try to access those settings, that program quits on me also.  Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Check your version of QT against this matrix, to see if you're running the right version. Check the NVIDIA drivers too.

To fix this problem, open up the Quicktime settings in your windows Control Panel.  Then go to the "Advanced" tab, and select "Safe Mode (GDI Only)." and OK.

That should fix it for you.
