    What's Up?

    Anyone having issues with the forums?  I have been using Firefox for 6-8 months on this forum and suddenly, I go to get on the forum Monday, and all I get is error messages.  This happens with Firefox at work or at home.  The others, Safari, Intenet Explorer and Netscape let me on, but I get the same error message when I try to retrieve my password on all three of them.

    Anyone know what's going on?

    I've been using Firefox too, but without any problems.

    In traditional Avid stylee, could you let us know your system specs. I have a feeling you may be running a non-qualified system.

    That or your dongle may need updating. Wink

    Re: What's Up?

    This is just a temporary profile so that I could get on the forum and ask others if they are having the same problems, that's why I don't have my system specs.  I'm not sure what you are asking about as far as the qulified systems.  ALL our Avids are fully qualified systems but I am using my desktop iMac to surf the forums.  NONE of our Avids are connected to the web!  But checking out the forums should have nothing to do with qualified systems or dongles.  They only pertain to running Avid software not Firefox.

    Sorry about that, the stuff about qualified systems and dongles was simply my humour. Wink

    Which version of Firefox are you using on your iMac?

    Re: What's Up?

    There's been a small number of folk who've told us about a similar issue. For each of those (three actually) it's been a case of multiple accounts tied to a single email address. Before the system (for the most part) let the issue slide but now that we've upgraded to the latest version it's getting cranky about it.

    Can you tell me your original/main account username? I'll then look up the email tied to that account to see if there are dupes and contact you directly about the resolution. In most cases the dupe account can be deleted/merged into your main account.

    Sorry for the problem,

    <Mike>
