    Playing 24pN from P2 w/ pulldown

When the acquisition format is 24pN on P2, is there a workflow that
allows you to playback at 30 or 60 fps (interlaced) with a pulldown
inserted?  (24p footage shot on Varicam/tape, we have the option to
    load it 1080i @ 60fps.)

In other words, does shooting 24pN onto P2 media require that you work
    in a 24p project?

What workflow is being used (by the smart guys) when 24pN is the
source, and 30 or 60i is the required output?

    Thanks.

(I'm sure this question has been asked several times. So maybe someone
could point me to the appropriate thread.)

when working native 24p/pN, and going out over FireWire, there is always a 2:3 insertion to create 59.94p. That just happens when you hit play.
