    Unity 5.0.1 Crashes During Capture!

    Anyone run into this?

    I have a G5, 10.4.11, MC Adrenaline 2.8

    Sometimes capturing to Unity will cause the MAC to freeze.  A transparent gray message will cover the screen and I must shut down the MAC by holding the power button down.  This issue is intermittant!

    I work in MXF or OMF in a 30i project.  I tried all the basic troubleshooting such as new user, new project, reseat hardware, reinstall software, etc etc etc.

    Any ideas?

    Yep, that's a Kernel panic and is part of a bug in Unity 5.x and MXF media. If you capture OMF, is everything all right?

    I do think we tried OMF but can not be 100% certain at this time.  Thanks!

    Does 5.0.2 resolve that issue?

    Can't say for certain but it is one of the bugs  that was getting highest priority for that release.

    Anyone else install 5.0.2 and had their kernal panic issues go away?
