I've been hearing differernt things about the mojo in regards to displaying HD material on a SD client monitor.
Does the Mojo downconver the material or does the Avid? Is it an automatic downconvert or would I have to manually downconvert it in order to view it on the client monitor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! P.S. is the Mojo DX really going to sell for 10K?

The Mojo DX is at $7500 by itself, 10k for it and Media Composer together. It's still more expensive then it should be, they really should rename it Adrenaline DX and add a few more ports to it; and come up with something else for Mojo DX.

$7500 is still way to much especially with their "new thinking" campaign. Anyway thanks for the info. Do you know anything about my original question?
Sorry, no... I don't have a Mojo SDI. So I don't really know all that much about it.

Both the original Mojo and the Mojo SDI behave the same way (regarding HD material):
It will automatically downconvert some HD formats - provided you switch the project's "Format Tab" to the standard SD video rate.
The details are:
Its not really very useful - it basically sucks for any kind of HD work. You are far better off looking into a Decklink card or an MXO box and using Avid's "Fullscreen" option - which allows for both SD and HD realtime screening without having to switch your Format. Fullscreen is limited by your computer's processing and graphics card - so your milage may vary using Fullscreen.
