2.8 Not working with DNX Board?

Got a 3Ghz 8-core MacPro (10.4.11) MC 2.7.2 and a DNX board that is working fine. However, when they tried to upgrade to 2.8 or 2.8.3 they get an error message when trying to capture video: PMDIO_IOManagerRep::NotifyDeviceStateChange - Failed LavaCommand VideoIOMode - set to capture If I physically remove the HD board. All is OK. How did I come to that conclusion? When I look at the Mac Console at the time of this error... I see the following: ERROR - duplicate Condition list key found trying to merge options file : /Library/Frameworks/lavaFlow.framework/Versions/A/Resources/FireHose.hwcCreateMyHWCaps - HWCaps for HD Board not found Also this... WARNING: AVX2 plug-in directory, '/Library/Application Support/Avid/AVX2_Plug-Ins', could not be found or is not accessible. I have done uninstalls using the avid uninstallers, then went in and removed anything related to avid, digi, or Pace in the Library, extensions, and priv's... ANy ideas? I've backrevved them to 2.7.2 which continues to work fine.. thanks... I've attached the Mac Console... TIA, Joe

Re: 2.8 Not working with DNX Board?

did you sucessfully complete the firmware update when upgrading to 2.8?  It should do two updates, one for the bob and one for the dnx board.  It's possible you did the one for the bob and it failed before the dnx one completed.  You can try 2.8 again and make sure it upgrades

Re: 2.8 Not working with DNX Board?

Thanks, sorry I'm just getting back now... Yes, it succesfully completed the FW update on both the Adrenaline and the DNX board. I also fortunately had another adrenaline with a DNX in the same rack (not connected to a system) and the same thing happened. As prev mentioned 2.7.2 seems to work fine - SO I'm thinking that the customer might have originally had a bad uninstall somehow of 2.7..2 and it's leaving some remnant behind somewhere that's causing issues... I've tried manually uninstalling everything I can think of to no avail... so i"m gonna take a hammer to it and re-install the OS and see what happens....
