So I recently finished building a new suite with MC 2.7 on it.  I went to the tools menu because I wanted to output SMPTE bars but both the Video Imput Tool and Video Output Tool are missing; not even listed under tools.  Where are they?  I looked under help on "How to output Bars and tone"  and it said to, do what I have been doing for years, go to the tools menu, select Video Output Tool and choose your bars.

Anyone have this?  Am I missing something stupid?

Duck, you say MC 2.7.  Is there a MOJO or DNA box connected to it?  I know in my suite MCA 2.8.3, if the DNA box is off, those tools disapear in the menu's.  The basically become inoperative.  Hope this helps.

No I don't have the Mojo hooked up yet, but I didn't think things would disappear from the menus because of it.  Well if that is the case, I will get the Mojo hooked up and see what happens!

Yea, it freaked me out too, i installed it in my Adrenaline rooms, and never turned the freaking DNA box back on.  I thought OMG!  I just bought the software only version!!!  It basically doesnt see the DNA, so it reverts to only software.  As soon as you put a mojo or DNA on it, bamo, it says Avid Media Composer MOJO or ADRENALINE.  Nice   GLad to help!!
