I imported pics into my bin then placed then into the timeline, then applied the Resize Effect on each one. I have done this before with another project and had no issues. Now the motion is shaky and awkard. I looked at the earlier project and the images move and resize very smoothly. I cannot find out why the new project is turning out differently. Rendering makes no difference.
Can you please give us a complete rundown off your system hardware (Including storage) and software as well as in what resolution you are working and what version of QT?
Do you really want to know what's wrong...or do you just want me to fix it?

It seems to have to do when I use the Advanced keyframes under the Effects Editor. I don't want to have to redo all the of the pics. Is there a way to get the Advanced key frames to work smoothly?
It seems intent on making me delete the original effect then put it back on the pic then use the Effects editor without clicking on Advanced keyframes. This is very weird. I did the first project without using Adv keyframes, which is why they move smoothly.
What to do?
Try this....
Copy the Resize effect template to your bin. Now add a fresh Resize to your segmen and open the position pane. Drop the effect template from your bin directly onto that pane. Now do the same for the size.
Does that put the correct values in without having to promote the effect to Adv keyframes?
does anyone know the reason for adv keyframes to act this way?
I couldn't figure out how to copy the resize effect template to my bin, so i just re-did everything. Everything is fine now and the project is finished but Is there a know issue with Adv keyframes?
Whats wrong with Pan & Zoom?

When you have the Effects Editing box open, there's a little effect icon at top. After you apply your effect the first time, with all the settings the way you want, click on that icon and drag it to your bin. Then, going forward, anytime you want to use the same effect elsewhere in your timeline, you drag it from your bin to that place and all the same settings apply.
