    Is This A Dongle Problem

     Here are My Sys Specs:

1 windows sys config and testing

My Problem is this im in the middle of a job recently i had a client that required that i and my partner take our desktops to their site. ( A Mistyake I Wont MAke Again )

any hew we wound up going on line to test out communications between my sys and group member systems. i got a virus in the form of a box looking for permission for acess to the web.

i found out later that each time the box poped up it did something to the regestry

so i had to uninstall / reinstall my soft ware bad scean i hope no one else goes on the journey i went on. I any event i got back up and running ( Sort of ) with a few issues.

now i come to my current problem i loaded sound soap on my sys it showed up in the audio suite tool as a plug in. the sound soap didnt work like i had hoped so i controle zed and went on to try another option. ZOUNDS a box comes up acess violation avid has a fatle error arrrgh! My Baby Is Hurt And Bad.

What do i Do? Who Can Help Me? Do i Uninstall All Of The Avid Ware and Reinstall? Is This An Issue Of The Dongle? Is It Damaged? Fortunatly I Saved My Work To TApe ( See It HAs Its Useses) But Im In The Middle Of Getting A Teleproduction ready for air so feed back is very important.

Soundsoap will not work as a plug-in for Avid - it can only be run as a stand-alone program.  It will show up in the audio effects pallette, but will not work properly and will only cause problems.

If you got hit with a virus that corrupted the registry, you may need to do a complete re-install of OS and applications if you are still having problems since you don't know the full extent of the damage that the virus caused.
