Mac 10.4.11

Both Safari and Firefox don't work, latest editions.

 And it doesn't work in Internet Exploer or Firefox on Windows XP. Obviously somethings *** up, and has been for some time.

Is this going to be fixed any time soon?

So Safari and Firefox don't work for you on Mac, and Firefox and IE don't work on Windows?  Are you certain it's not something on your end?  I think if there was some problem with the forums that was keeping Mac & Windows users on Safari, IE and Firefox from using the forums, more people would have noticed.

Maybe it's this.

Or you could contact Pif (the forum admin) directly and see if he's got any troubleshooting ideas.

I've tried it on a few different computers now, at a few different locations. I removed my cookies. Obviously it's something on Avid's side.

I'll try and PM him now.

I had this error on Safari for a while. I had to log out of the forums, reset Safari and then log in again. All is fine now.
