    AvidXpressDV.exe - Bad Image

    I recieved this yesterday:

    The application or dll c:\windows\system32\avifil32.dll is not a valid windows image. please check this against your installation diskette.

    I use Window XP and have avid xpress dv 3.5 powerpack. I worked fine the day before. What could be the problem.

    Hi,

    Was that a Windows error or an error that came up in Xpress DV?  Whichever one it was, I'd try reinstalling it.

     I tried to reinstall Avid and it didn't work. Avid won't even run.

    Hi,

    Did you get any error messages during the install, or do you get any now?  Also, it would help to know your system specifications.
