Hello, here's my problem,
We're capturing into a MCAdrenaline (2.1.6) from a DCVProHD deck's SD downconvert for the offiline cut. We're taking SD SDI video with 4 channels of embedded audio. The audio project is 48k. The deck is a Panasonic AJ-HD-1400.
Sometimes the capture has really buzzy audio (I think some people call it 'motorboating') but it doesn't happen all the time. It's maybe 1 in 4 clips, but then a realoaded bad clip could come in fine. When the tape isn't rolling, I see the audio meters on the from of the i/o jumping around, but they look fine while capturing. Also, the clip sounds fine going in, but then will sound buzzy on playback from the system.
To top off the mess, the video that plays on the computer monitor while capturing will go black after a few minutes, but the clip will be fine after the capture. Any ideas?
When this happens, re-cycle the power on your DNA I/O box.
