Black dot (bullet point) in name of bins/folders

I was wondering if anyone knew how I can add a black dot (not a period) to the name of a bin or folder? In Mac Avids you just hit Option/8, but that doesn't work with the PC.

    thanks,
    Erik

Jeez. PC couldn't come up with anything easier than that? I wonder if there's any key mapping I could do to make Alt/8 do the job, since right now it's doesn't do anything.

Hey, I didn't build the stupid thing, I just Google'd and found a link to a list of Windows Alt Key Codes for different symbols.  Wink

alt 0149 works -at least it's been working for me for a few years.

That was one of my early questions after I switched from mac.
