Maybe I missed this, but was there any timeline announced for the Media Composer 3 software ship date?  I've been waiting ages to upgrade to use it on Leopard...is this coming asap or in the summer?

From what I've been told, there will be no announced date for 3.0. Don't know about hardware but, knowing Avid, I'd doubt it.

 At the bottom of the details on the Avid website, it says June.

Ah - thanks - June..that's what I figured, although it's better than the old of answer of "we do not discuss future products" :)

June is a TARGET date. doesn't mean it will ship then. Doesn't mean it won't. However, I guarantee if they don't, everyone here will be screaming bloody murder and we'll be back to no announcement of future product releases again.
