fdooman:What is going to be system requirement for MC 3.0?
Compare to the Qualified systems
Yes, it is a good setup. You would probably get a bit more out of it if you install Vista 64bit if you can get drivers (and then turn down all of its gizmos).

XW8400 Dual Dual core won't support Mojo DX DNxHD capture ?

I had the same question, sep.
It seems to imply that in order to move to Mojo DX, you would need a new workstation. That makes the move to Nitris DX more interesting for about the same money for those on 8400 dual core Xeons.
Right !
Is thee a PDF or something else somewhere with all the Nitris DX connectors on the rear side ?
I've got it for Mojo DX, but not Nitris DX. My concern here is about a lottle detail, but important to me, a TC output connection ?
Nitris DX supposedly has TC I/O over XLR (just like 'old' Nitris):
See specs.
Great, Job, that's what I was looking for. Thanks a lot !
BTW, I guess there are no DNxHD capture issues with Nitris DX and a XW8400 Dual Dual ?
Job ter Burg:TC I/O over XLR (just like 'old' Nitris)
WTF would you go back to using XLR's for TC when you are already short of backplane real estate? Interesting to see if the new thinking has them change the XLR's pin assignments just because they can.
sep,
where did you find the PDF for the mojo dx? I can't find one anywhere, and would like to and for the nitris as well if you have found one by now.
Thanks
Graham

Why do you say they are going back?
Meridien with 888 had TC over XLR, Nitris has TC over XLR, DVW decks have TC over XLR.
It seems from the Qualified Systems list that there are no such issues with dual dual and Nitris DX, whereas this issue is mentioned for the dual dual with Mojo DX.
This must be because the NItris DX has the DNxHD codec on board, whereas the Mojo DX is just I/O Very expensive I/O at that. .
