I wander what the upgrade price from 2.8 to 3.0 will be?

 I'm still  waiting to see what effect this announcement has on the price of Adrenelains still in the system. Currently cheapest Adrenelain HD (that I can find) is £11,175 + VAT roughly $22350 compared to $12500 for Nitris Dx.

I foresee some bargains to be had on what is still a good piece of kit.

What is going to be system requirement for MC 3.0? Is my system below the requirement?

Dual Xeon 3.0, Supermicro X6DAE-G2 MB, PNY Quadro FX 1500 PCIe video card. 4 GIG ram. Two Seagate 200 GIG set as Raid 0 for video drive, Seagate 160 GIG ATA 100 7200 RPM system drive, Seagate 160 GIG ATA 100 7200 RPM storage. ADS Pyro 64 FW card on slot 1. High point raid controller card. Lian LI case model V-1200 Server case and 550 watts power supply.

This is a custom built pc. I ‘m running MC 2.8 with no problem. I’m going to buy the Sony EX1 since I want to make the transition into the world of HD. Can I get some advice? Thank you so much.
