I can no longer create my own quicktime export settings in Avid Symphony Nitris. I can set the codec to Custom, and then click Format Options, but when I click Video Settings... Avid crashes soon after the codec window is displayed, saying only "Runtime Error, This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." This also happens if I try to select a different Audio codec.
Existing export profiles work ok, but if I ever lose these I'm going to be stuck.
I'm running Symphony 1.8, and Quicktime 7.6.2.
Any ideas?
Trash settings?
QuickTime 7.3 is supported with the latest editor releases -- Xpress Pro 5.8, Media Composer 2.8, NewsCutter 6.8, and Symphony Nitris 1.8
down rev to a 'blessed' qt?
It maybe a problem with direct x and QT. Try going into your qt settings in QT player and select edit - preferences - QT prefrences. Go to the advanced tab and select safe mode (GDI) only.
This should work!
Success! Yay Internet! Thanks.
Thank you, this saved my day as well :)
