Hi all,

I had config  system on two Vlan  (10 and 20), all the client on Vlan 20 correct but all the client on Vlan 10 are not correct.

When I tried to connect Client on Vlan 10 to Intedexer, the Index sevice has proplem, althought I can connect to Interplay server.

Could you please to show me ?

I had config DNS!

P/s: Need we config default getway?

Ngoc: it's not a problem to help you, but it sounds you don't know so much about configurations, specially for a products like Interplay and ISIS. Is this a new system?, if so, what about the reseller or Avid's PSG days?, are you taking the risk of installing a new system without assistance?

The Interplay installation and configuration is not an easy task, mainly due all the settings you need to set in the right manner to allow the system work healthy.

You need to set the Gateway on the single VLAN systems to allow clients on different VLANs to see each other, the switch does the routing, the ISS can't do routing.

Is the DNS set correctly?

How are the ISS set being set?

How are the Media Indexers being configured, the HAG?

I had config ISIS and Interplay are OK.

I am try do not use Foundry Switch (It is mean : Default getway 192.168.10.2 or 192.168.20.2) because I had ony eight clients.

DNS sets correct.

ISIS sets two Vlan.

I think we need default getway so Interplay and Index are only need one IP address, is it right?

If you don't have a routing switch, you will never see the other VLAN using the ISS, period.

The Engine and the MI must be on both VLANs.

I am very sorry about my stupied questions, I am juist try another way to set up with ISIS.

But still now, although, both INdex and Interplay have two  VLAN (10 and 20) ,  only clients on VLAN 20 can be worked, VLAN 10 can not.

On Clients VLAN 10, I can ping to Interplay and Inex.

So, could you please to recommand me to check some case?
