Hey Everyone

Shot a spec spot with the panasonic hdx200. The camera's owner then burned the files onto 2 dual layer dvds for me. The first dvd has the contents file while the second has some random mxf files. Having a terrible time trying to import the footage into avid. I've tried coping the files into a another drive, that didn't work. Could import the footage of disc one but without the other files, it was full of errors "sys_error status 87, msg parameter is incorrect"

 Sorry, Don't.  I know there is an issue with P2 on Macs. Have you copied to your hard drive?

It should be exactly the same as from any other media.  If you can't even copy the data fully it sounds like there might have been some corruption during the copy process.
