What is the longest clip anyone has played back from Unity on a Media Composer Adrenaline?
Reason for asking - I'm having issues playing a sequence in MCA which is referencing media on a Unity. At 58 minutes of a 70 minute clip, my timeline's timecode track gets that evil red line and output video and audio becomes intermittent.

Is it just a clip and not a sequence ? You should be able to play back a clip that long. What res is it ? How many people are on your unity other than you ?
If you sub clip it down to a few parts then consolidate and the create a sequence made of the parts does it do it then ?
When is the last time you Optimized the drives in the Unity? Id start there.
Max out all workspaces, and in the spirt of docavid, get the coffee and let it go!

What was the outcome Pixel Monkey ?
Looks like the outcome was simple, non-Avid stuff. The dual NIC card was disabled through windows, but not in the BIOS. Once we did that, everything works fine.
Found this out when Windows started rebooting itself during timeline playback, leaving me with a 922Fatal Error in Unknown Slot message. (The great folks at Avid Tech Support discovered it.)
Pixel Monkey:my timeline's timecode track gets that evil red line
Hi,
I think the red line was the clue, as that points toward a problem in the local machine itself rather than with Unity. That said, though, I don't know if you'd get a blue line if it was a Unity issue, or if that is only for local storage. My feeling is it's only for local storage.
good luck,Carl
