Importing Large MPEG files cut off at 24;00;;00

I received some 1 hour long 720P footage that was captured as MPEGs in
Premier Pro on a Mac computer. When I import them into Avid MC on a PC they
are cut off at 24;00;00 - all of them. When I load them into TMPEG Enc
I still see that they are in fact 60 mins long, so it seems to be Avid
that is cutting them off during the import process.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Barry
