I would like to know if there are any known issues with third party plug-ins if one is upgrading to AMC from AXP. In particularly, Boris Continuum AVX and Magic Bullet Looks. Do I also need to upgrade these plug ins to AMC versions? (Big $$$ difference). I called Boris but they did not return my call. This is the question that has paused my upgrading path.
Thanks in advance.
if I'm not mistaken, the MC upgrade comes with a new version of BCC.
Hi,
With Boris you should be fine. As far as Magic Bullet goes, I saw this post earlier about trouble with a new version of Magic Bullet, but it seems to be particular to that user's Nvidia card, rather than an AXP v MC issue.
good luck,Carl
There is no such thing as a video emergency. My Demo Website
I use Stageworks, Trapcode and 3Prong plug-ins that are working a-ok in Composer.

When I switched to MC, the BCC I had been using (v4) with AXP carried over seamlesly and works fine. I also had a few other plug-ins (mostly Trapcode) which also are fine. I thought it was interesting that the plug-ins all carried over automatically but I had to manually move my settings files.
Thank you all for your answers. I will take the plunge.
