I have two avid workgroup and four TransferManager servers(hereafter TM) per workgroup.
Avid's reseller told me TM can perform for registering asset as Avid's one.
I tried to transfer OP1a clips in 3'rd storage to ISIS by TM.
The clips can be transfered to ISIS as OPAtom successfully, but I can't find this clips in Avid Interplay by Avid Interplay Access.
After exexuting 'Resync..' function in Avid Interplay Access, I can find that clips in 'Catalog/Resync/anyworkspace' folder.
What is the problem? How can I solve this problem?
are you able to post a screenshot of your TM config window? That would be very helpful for this.
Best guess is your workgroup configuration in the settings, or the TM itself are not correct.
JDS
Attached file is capture image of TM config.
Thank you for kindness.
Do you have the TransferManager account with password avid created in the Interplay?
I have valid TransferManager account in the Interplay.
I still can't solve this problem. Anyone who can solve this gives me help.
Can you put a screenshot of the TrasnferManager Interplay account?, which settings this user have over the database?
Regards
Make sure to select the box "accept incoming workgroup transfers without Interplay login" on the Interplay engine Transfer Config window.
Also make sure the following Admin account exists in Interplay and ISIS or Unity
Acct:TransferManager
Pwd: avid
I already satisfy those settings as you commented.
But I still can't check in at Avid Interplay via TransferManager.
Does the TransferManager client Read/Write/Delete permissions over the entire data base?
Having Access installed on the Transfer Engine is a requirement for the checkin to work.
Also, the Interplay account being used can be specified in the TMConfig utility. It is not limited to Transfermanager/avid for this case.
The Tm log file and the workgroup.log should shed more light on why this is not working
For TM transferring asset check-in to interplay,
The user account must Higher than READ/WRITE privilege in terplay administration tools.
In Interplay Access,
Login to interplay access (use administrator account)
- Interplay DB > catalogs select
- Mouse right click and interplay Security setting select.
In Security Dialogbox
- Folder option
-- Allow Creation of sub folders option must checked
-- Allow adding and removing of item .... option must checked
- Roles option
-- Full-down Menu > Transfer Manager User select
-- higher than Read/Write privilege select
