Will Avid work with XP x64?

While getting some things done to my box, without my consent, the IT installed Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. Is this the reason I am getting "Setup has determined that the current OS is not supported."?

If so, any intel on when Avid might be ready for this?

For now, what do I need to do once I throw in my XP Pro Service Pack 2 disc to get back where I need to be?

- At this time, x64 is not supported.

- When it may be supported would be speculation (which is against forum rules). We will have to wait and see if anything happens at NAB.
