Hey guys,
I've done quite a bit of research into how to get networked drives working, but with no success so far! :)
I'm running Avid XPress Pro 5.8, and have mapped the network drive to drive O:. There is an OMFI MediaFiles directory in the root of the drive, and I still can't see the damn thing in Avid. :D
This is on Windows XP Professional with SP2, running on a gigabit network to a big fast SAN.
I've put "alldrives" into the console, and it says that it will now look for all drives, not just local ones (or whatever the message is), and I've told it to mount all drives, and still nothing... If I copy the directory over locally onto the computer, there's no problem, it will see it locally, but I just can't figure out why it's not seeing it if it's on the mapped network drive! :)
Any thoughts on this? I have full permissions on that directory, etc.
Thanks in advance!
Do you have "Filter Network Drives Based on Resolution" checked in your Media Creation Settings?
