I see where you can upgrade to Composer. Does composer work with Avid toolkit?  I am curently using version 5.7.7. Should I even upgrade?  Many thanks.

Who here has already upgraded to MCsoft and what comes in the box?

I have - it came with BCC 4.2.2, DVDit 6, Sorenson Squeeze and Sonicfire Pro 4. Plus a trial version of Factory Tools 2, and an interactive training CD "Making the Move to Avid Media Composer Adrenaline"
